Prof. Dr. Dieter Boegenhold has taught and carried out research at various German universities, and currently is a Professor in the Faculty of Economics, at the Alpen-Adria University at Klagenfurt, Austria. He teaches courses, such as Principles of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Markets in Socioeconomic Perspective, and his research focuses on Business Economics, Business Ethics, Sociology of Economics and Political Economy.
Dieter has published numerous contributions, including 17 books, book chapters, articles in scholarly Journals, working papers, lecture notes and conference papers. Many of them have been published in Journals indexed in the ABS and CNRS lists. Prof. Dr. Boegenhold has been an Invited Speaker in several International Conferences (e.g., 90th International Atlantic Economic Society Conference; 4th International Conference on Management in Emerging Markets, and the 11th International Conference on Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Small Business; 110th Conference of the American Sociological Association, etc.). Moreover, he has acted as a member of the Organizing and Programme Committee of many conferences (e.g., International Conference “Globalization and Youth: Developments, Analyses and Perspectives”; The 7th International Conference on Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability, 87th International Atlantic Economic Conference, etc.).
In addition, Dieter is a member of the board of diverse Associations (e.g., Dutch Research Council; Research Synergy Foundation; The Estonian Research Council etc.) and Journals (e.g., International Review of Entrepreneurship; Global Economy Review; SN Business & Economics; Lifescience Global, etc.). Also, he acts as a reviewer for several scholarly Journals. Finally, Prof. Dr. Boegenhold acts as Chairman of the VHB Committee on Scientific Theory and Business Ethics, and has participated in several competitively funded Research Projects with a leading role.
