Panayiotis Tarnaras is currently a PhD candidate at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), and his research interests are in the areas of Banking, Financial Engineering and Operations Research. Panayiotis has previously acted as Research Fellow at the University of Southampton and has 15 years of research and working experience as Quantitative Analyst in the banking sector (Alpha Bank and Piraeus Bank). He holds an MSc in Operational Research from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom, and a BSc from the Department of Physics, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (UoA). Panayiotis has authored 3 papers in peer-reviewed Journals including: Journal of the Operational Research Society, Emergency Medicine Journal, and European Journal of Economics and Economic Policies: Intervention.
