Prof. Dr. Ioannis E. Tsolas is an Associate Professor of Economic Analysis at the School of Applied Mathematics and Physics, National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). At NTUA and the Hellenic Open University he teaches / has taught Economics, Microeconomics, Economic Analysis, Applied Economics, and Business Administration. In total, Ioannis has authored approximately 50 articles, published or forthcoming, in a number of Journals or appearing in working paper series, lecture notes, international conferences or edited volumes. He has published numerous articles in Journals indexed in the ABS and CNRS lists, among which several 4* and 3*Journals (ABS list). Also, he has authored several articles in scholarly Journals with Impact Factor (IF) indexed in the Journal Citation Reports released by Thomson Reuters (ISI). His articles have appeared in scholarly Journals such as: European Journal of Operational Research, Annals of Operations Research, IMA Journal Management Mathematics, Expert Systems with Applications, Operational Research: An International Journal, Resources Policy, Journal of the Operational Research Society, Journal of Construction Engineering and Management, Minerals and Metallurgical Processing, Journal of Environmental Engineering, etc.
His published work also includes several conference papers (e.g. Sixteenth Annual Conference of the Multinational Finance Society, Fifth International Conference on Construction in the 21st Century (CITC-V), etc). In addition, he has participated in several competitively funded research projects, including Pythagoras and EPEAEK II.
Prof. Dr. Tsolas holds a 5-year MEng Degree in Mining and Metallurgical Engineering, and a PhD in Engineering, both from NTUA.
