History

The Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Law (AKED) of NTUA (National Technical University) was founded in 1982 under a Law that changed the structure and operation of Greek Universities. The Department was developed from the integration of two chairs (Chair of Philosophy and Chair of Economics). It then joined the then General Department of NTUA.
